Switzerland

Switzerland is where fairytales are forged in stone villages and mirrored lakes. My recent journey through this alpine gem was filled with indulgent spas, breathtaking train rides, and more cheese and chocolate than I care to admit—but regret? Absolutely none.

Zurich: A Sophisticated Start

I began at Hotel Alex Lake Zurich, where lake views and fine dining set the tone. My walking tour of Old Town included stops at storied hotels, chocolatiers like Sprüngli, and a private visit to a family-run watchmaker—only in Zurich.

Alpine Retreats in Andermatt & St. Moritz

From Zurich, I transferred to The Chedi Andermatt for the ultimate mountain-chic experience—think indoor saunas and fireside fondue. Then came St. Moritz: snowcapped peaks, a horse-drawn carriage ride around the lake, and a caviar tasting to top it all off.

Train Dreams & Lake Lugano Luxury

The Bernina Express carried me through postcard-perfect scenery on the way to Lugano. A private Gozzo boat ride, followed by a stay at Aria Retreat & Spa, gave me a new appreciation for the slower side of luxury.

Italian Elegance in Lake Como & Milan

We explored the cinematic beauty of Lake Co, including o—Villa Balbianello, Bellagio, and a lakeside lunch at Grand Hotel Tremezzo. In Milan, I admired Gothic splendor at the Duomo and concluded with a food tour fit for a queen.

From snow to sun, my Swiss itinerary had it all. If you're dreaming of the Alps, lakes, and luxury, I'd love to help make it a reality.
